Keep Same Temperature Foods Together
When you are bagging groceries make sure that you keep foods with different temperatures away from each other. Making sure you keep frozen foods with other frozen foods and hot foods with hot foods is important in keeping the food good. Also you should make sure that you don't mix these hot or cold foods with canned or dry goods. Doing this will ensure that the food stays good and nothing spoils on your way home. This will also make it easier to unload the groceries because all these foods go in the same places at home.

Bagging Tip 2
Meats and Vegetables
Never put meat and fresh produce together in the same bag. This can cause cross contamination which does cause illness. Also you should package the same types of meats with each other. For instance keeping beef with beef, pork with pork, and especially chicken with chicken. Never put anything together in a bag with chicken because it can cause salmonella and many other diseases.
Keeping produce together in the same bags will help keep the produce fresh and safe from other foods that could smash or bruise the fruits and vegetables.

Bagging Tip 3
Keep Fragile Items Separate
Never pack eggs, bread, chips, tomatoes, or grapes together with any other groceries. This is because these items are easily damaged and when bagged with items that are heavier they will usually smash the more fragile items. Also when packing the cart always keep heavier items (bags of cans or gallons of milk) on the bottom of the cart and more fragile items(vegetables, bread, chips, eggs) on the top. This will ensure that nothing happens to these fragile items in the cart. No body likes smashed bread or broken eggs.

Bagging Tip 4
Reusable Bags
Reusable bags offer more space to put groceries in and are more durable than a regular plastic or paper bag. There are all kinds of different sizes, shapes, designs, and colors. You can put 12 cans and 4 big boxes in a large reusable bag which is almost 3 times more than the regular paper or plastic bag. This helps to transfer large orders. Using these bags are really good for the environment because you don't have to waster paper and plastic bags. These bags are also really helpful in transferring big loafs of bread or eggs as smaller plastic or paper bags can smash them. Reusable bags can also be personalized with images, personal pictures, or many different designs.
